Description

"Medical Terminology 2" is an advanced course tailored for administrative professionals in healthcare settings who have a foundational knowledge of medical terminology. This course builds upon the basics to provide an in-depth understanding of more complex and specialized medical terms. Participants will explore advanced vocabulary, including terms related to specific medical specialties such as cardiology, neurology, and oncology.

Through comprehensive lessons and practical exercises, students will enhance their ability to decode and accurately use advanced medical terminology. This course aims to improve participants' proficiency in documenting and transcribing medical terms, thereby enhancing their effectiveness in administrative roles and their communication with healthcare professionals.

Successful completion of Medical Terminology 1 or equivalent foundational knowledge in medical terminology.
