Learners will master identifying and applying key performance indicators for interprofessional teams and understand the role of evaluation in interprofessional education and practice. They will develop skills in selecting and applying evaluation tools such as team performance observation checklists and competency measurement instruments. Learners will analyze patient outcome data to assess care impact, evaluate interprofessional processes using standard frameworks like Kirkpatrick and CIPP models, design outcome evaluation plans for collaborative care projects, and collect, interpret, and present interprofessional outcome data effectively.
Basic familiarity with healthcare performance measurement, quality improvement concepts, and interprofessional collaboration is helpful but not mandatory. Knowledge of data analysis and outcome tracking in healthcare settings would enhance learning.
Healthcare professionals including physicians, nurses, administrators, quality improvement specialists, and team leaders engaged in interprofessional care delivery. Particularly valuable for program evaluators, clinical researchers, and organizational leaders who need to assess team effectiveness, demonstrate collaboration impact, and drive continuous improvement in team-based care settings.
