The office assistant shall be responsible and perform duties including but not limited to
a. Perform data entry of documents
b. Review and/or prepare various forms and memos
c. Order office supplies for the Business Office
d. Maintain leave of absent record of employees in the Business Office
e. Record and prepare meeting minutes
f. Maintain documents and fillings
g. Perform other clerical administrative services and duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Knowledge
a. Principles and practices of general administrative principles and practices including but not limited to record keeping and filings, telephone and email communications, and business letters using acceptable formats and conforming to rules of grammar and style
b. Operation and maintenance of common computer hardware and software including but not limited to telephone, photocopying, facsimile, calculators, and Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Skill and Abilities
a. Has ability to carry out typical range of clerical functions and assignments
b. Maintains an effective work organization, strong work ethic, and teamwork. Adhere to daily business office protocols including working hours and timely attendance.
c. Plans, prioritizes and implements workload effectively
d. Reads and understand various policies and procedures, manuals, and guidelines, and learn and apply pertinent administrative rules, regulations, and policies and procedures.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent. College degree preferred.
Experience
